Open Faced Tuno Salad Sandwich

Not going to lie, it can be a bit messy to eat. But the ease, taste, and macros make it worth the mess ;)

Ingredients (3 servings):

  • 5 cans of Loma Linda Tuno, drained and pressed

  • 2 stalks of celery, chopped

  • 1/4 cup of Follow Your Heart Reduced Fat Vegenaise

  • Orowheat Sandwich Thins

  • Russian mustard, salt, and pepper to taste

  • Optional: top with sliced pickles

Instructions:

Combine Tuno, celery, mayo, mustard, and spices in a bowl. Divide into 3 even servings.

Toast the bread, and top 1/2 of the serving on each side.

For some additional crunch and flavor I like to top each side with some sliced pickles.

When Iā€™m in a cut or trying to keep calories low, I like to add a side of fruit. In maintenance, I would pair it with some chopped veggies and dip. In a surplus, I add some chips.
